Curtis Whole Apricots 2kg

Apricots originated in Asia and have been grown throughout the Middle East, China and India for thousands of years.

Spanish missionaries introduced them to the Americas in the 17th Century.

Apricots dried with Sulphur Dioxide retain their orange colour and have a longer shelf life, while naturally dried apricots are a dark brownish colour.

The company of Abbey Foods very originally started in 1820 with a butchery and slaughterhouse in Leighton Buzzard, WM Yirrell (still there in Old Road, Linslade). Fast forward 150 years, and in 1995 we created Abbey Cheese so now specialising in both cheese and meats. After Covid, we realised we had also started to source many other products , and continue to do so, being directed by our customers needs. We are a family company, and specialise in doing it right, first time, on time.
