Tate & Lyle is the largest cane sugar brand in the UK providing fair trade sugar. Their products have been produced at the same refinery on the banks of the Thames River in London since 1878.

Tate & Lyle sugars focuses principally on bringing specialty sugars and functional ingredients made from 100% cane sugar.

Dark Soft Brown Sugar has a toasted malty taste with a moist texture. Ideal for pies, puddings and stews.

The company of Abbey Foods very originally started in 1820 with a butchery and slaughterhouse in Leighton Buzzard, WM Yirrell (still there in Old Road, Linslade). Fast forward 150 years, and in 1995 we created Abbey Cheese so now specialising in both cheese and meats.
